One of the best ways to control mosquitoes by preventing them!

What is the best thing to do in controlling mosquitoes?

• Mosquito larvae live, develop and thrive in standing, stagnant water; therefore, the best place to attack the problem is to attacks the mosquito problem at its source, treating standing water with a larvicide.
• The product I like to recommend to eradicate the larvae, is environmentally safe material called BTI.
Isn’t spraying the best method to eradicate the mosquito?
• According to the American Mosquito Control Association, "ground or aerial application of chemicals to kill adult mosquitoes is usually the least efficient mosquito control technique."
• Spraying only kills adult mosquitoes that are actually touched by the chemical. Larvae and mosquitoes that are hiding in grass, foliage, or even just behind the fence of a back yard often escape.
• Mosquito’s just love to stay in still air, such as behind wind breaks, shrubbery areas, low-lying ground cover or grasses used in landscaping.
• Many of the chemicals used in spraying occasionally contaminate our waterways and atmosphere, staying suspended in the air that we breathe, and endangering fish and other people and animals.
